How are the high-quality cuddly blankets at Kuscheldecke.de produced?

Spinning, twisting, dyeing – all production steps are handled by our partners in Germany. We use only organically grown cotton. Our blankets are certified according to GOTS and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Class 1 – guaranteeing the highest ecological and social standards.

What makes a cuddly blanket so special?

Our blankets combine high-quality materials, sustainable production, and stylish design. They are breathable, skin-friendly, and suitable for babies and allergy sufferers. Each piece is a certified natural product – made with attention to detail.

What materials do you use?

We use only the finest cotton and select blended fabrics with a high cotton content. This ensures a particularly soft feel against the skin and a long lifespan.

Are the blankets sustainable?

Yes – short supply chains, environmentally friendly materials, and fair production in Germany and Europe are what set us apart. Many of our blankets carry GOTS and OEKO-TEX® certifications.

Are the cuddly blankets suitable for allergy sufferers and babies?

Yes, our blankets are tested for harmful substances and certified according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. They are soft, breathable and also suitable for sensitive skin.

How big are the ceilings?

Standard size: 150 × 200 cm – perfect for sofas and beds. Baby blankets: 75 × 100 cm, children's blankets: 100 × 150 cm. We custom-make XXL sizes up to 150 × 240 cm upon request.

How do I properly care for my cuddly blanket?

Machine washable at 30-40°C on a gentle cycle, air dry, no fabric softener. This will keep the blanket beautiful and soft for a long time.

Do the blankets shed lint or pill?

Slight pilling is possible with natural fibers. A quick wash will remedy this. Thanks to a special weaving technique, our blankets remain permanently fluffy.

Can I use the blanket outdoors?

Yes, many models are also suitable for balconies, picnics, or patios. Cotton and fleece are particularly ideal for this.

Are cuddly blankets suitable as gifts?

Absolutely! Each blanket can be lovingly gift-wrapped, and a greeting card can be included upon request. Ideal for birthdays, Christmas, weddings, or simply as a token of appreciation.

Can I personalize my blanket?

Yes, limited designer or artist editions are released regularly. Tip: Subscribe to the newsletter so you don't miss any special editions.

What is the difference between a blanket, a cuddly blanket, and a plaid?

Kolter: our premium option – high-quality, soft, made in Germany. Kuscheldecke: the general term for cozy blankets for snuggling up in.
Plaid: lighter, often used as a sofa throw or decorative bedspread.

Order & Service

How quickly will my order be delivered?

Within Germany, delivery takes 2 to 4 business days; internationally, 5 to 10 days. Shipping is sustainable and handled by DHL. Pre-orders are also possible while we are in production – in this case, delivery within Germany may take 10 to 14 days.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping within Germany is €4.90 - free shipping on orders over €30. International shipping costs are shown at checkout.

Can I return my order?

Yes – you have a 30-day return policy. The blanket must be unused and in its original condition. Simply contact our customer service.
